Job Description:
As a Nursery Technician, you will play a crucial role in the various stages of plant propagation and care.

This position involves hands-on work in plant care, cutting, maintenance, and creating an environment conducive to healthy plant growth.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Clone Cutting and Clone Care Maintenance:
Perform precise clone cutting to ensure consistent size and quality.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to sanitation protocols.
Care for clones in the cloning racks to promote successful rooting.
Mix and administer proper watering solutions according to recipes.
Monitor and address growth disorders, pests, and diseases.
Plant Propagation:
Assist with plugging clones into the medium following standard procedures.
Mix tray solutions accurately and ensure proper stocking of supplies.
Label trays correctly and follow established protocols.
Mother Plant Care:
Inspect mother plants for pests, diseases, and abnormalities before cutting.
Contribute to daily feeding, weekly treatments, and IPM inspections.
Assist in topping and leafing to enhance plant health and productivity.
Apply treatments and solutions as needed.
Facility Maintenance:
Keep facilities, workstations, and equipment clean and organized.
Participate in overall facility cleanliness and closing procedures.
Collaboration and Innovation:
Stay updated with the latest plant care techniques and best practices.
Contribute to research efforts and collaborate across departments.
Skills &
Qualifications:
? Must be 21 years of age or older ? Ability to pass a comprehensive background check as mandated by the Cannabis Control Board ? Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
for extended periods of time ? Previous experience in plant care, horticulture, or related fields is preferred.
? Knowledge of plant propagation techniques, cloning, and integrated pest management.
? Ability to follow protocols, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to safety measures.
? Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively individually or with a team.
? Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
