Job Description:
The primary responsibilities of the Security Officer are to conduct patrol duties, respond immediately to emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance, and document services provided on each shift.
The Security Officer is expected to act in a courteous and professional manner at all times in alignment with organizational values and standards.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Successful background checks and related eligibility requirements for employment in a healthcare organization Able to understand oral and written instructions Good organizational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills Ability to work under pressure and be able to adapt to evolving situations Must be able to attain the following that the employer will provide:
o BLS (Basic Life Support) certification within 6 months of hire IAHSS (International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety) Basic training within 6 months of hire MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) training within the first 3 months of hire.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
